Top 5 Prefered Stocks For 2015

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is getting all the attention today for breaking a big round number. But the S&P 500 has refused to be left out–it’s trying to close above 1,800, after breaking that big round number for the first time ever.

The S&P 500 is up 0.1% at 1,800.48 at 2:29 p.m., getting a boost from big gains in Precision Castparts (PCP), which has risen 3.6%, Jabil Circuit (JBL), which is up 2.5% to $20.32 and Celgene (CELG), which has jumped 2.5% to $154.86. Even Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) is lending helping hand today–its shares are up 2.5%.

The S&P 500 is also trying to accomplish another rare feat: a seventh straight week without a loss. MKM Partners’ Jonathan Krinsky looks at what that would mean:

The S&P 500 (1798.18) closed higher for the sixth consecutive week on Friday, gaining 6.29% over that period, and recording another new all-time high. Since 2004, the SPX has been up seven weeks in a row just three times, and since 2000 just six times. Three of the six instances occurred in late 2003 into 2004, as part of a nine week winning streak.

AMR Corporation (AMR), incorporated in October 1982, operates in the airline industry. The Company�� principal subsidiary is American Airlines, Inc. (American).     Last but not the least is US Airways Group (LCC), in which Y/Cap slightly increased its position, now owning around $7.9 million. U.S. Airways is currently on the minds of many investors, mainly due to its plans to merge with American Airlines parent AMR Corp (AAMRQ.PK). While European regulators approved the merger, the U.S. Department of Justice put a spoke in the wheel, and is trying to block the move. The companies filed a motion to the court to set the trial date for November 12. Amid these actions, U.S. Airways and American Airlines prolonged the outside date at which one of the companies can terminate the proposed merger.

    Anybody who was lucky enough to get into a Recon Technology, Ltd. (NASDAQ:RCON) position before October 7th, then congratulations - you're up big-time. Now get out. Instead, a better use of that capital is Mitek Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MITK). While RCON is overbought and ripe for a pullback, MITK is itching to stage a breakout.

Top 5 Undervalued Companies To Watch For 2015: Vision Industries Corp (VIIC)

Vision Industries Corp. (Vision), incorporated on May 11, 2004, is a manufacturer of zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell electric hybrid powered Class 8 trucks and terminal tractors. Vision operates in the short-haul, drayage trucking category (the movement of containerized cargo over a short distance, typically less than 50 miles, from a port to an intermodal facility, such as a rail yard). The Company�� products include the Tyrano, a short-haul Class 8 tractor, and the Zero-TT, a single axle terminal tractor co-developed with Cargotec USA, the maker of terminal tractors.

    However, in all fairness, shares of Qualcomm have indeed lagged the Nasdaq 100 (NDX) over the past year. But despite that fact, Qualcomm is still currently rated a buy by a large percentage of analysts who continue to follow the stock. Printing and Distribution

Printing and distribution revenues comprised approximately 8.5 % of the Company�� revenue in 2011 and consists primarily of commercial printing, distribution and direct mail service. The Company provides commercial printing services, primarily for national newspapers, such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and USA Today and other local newspapers. Newsprint used in the production of large national newspapers is generally provided by the customer. The Company also provides home delivery and retail outlet distribution services, for such national newspapers, as well as for regional newspapers delivered into its coverage areas, such as The Boston Globe and the Los Angeles Times.
